The process of selling the owner financed document
is simple and easily understood.

Because the investor is seeking to buy the note that describes the sale, (s)he needs to know the financial information written on the note itself. With the note in front of you, click on the link Note Information Form and fill it out with your computer keypad. Then e-mail it to me at laurens@assetconversions.info. Call us for other modes of sending the data or for any questions you may have at (707) 943-1676.

Complete and honest disclosure is necessary.
Understand that beyond the terms of the note, the investor is very interested in the financial condition of the party making payments. (S)he understands special circumstances, but does not want to become involved in foreclosure. (S)he is an investor, not a land manager.

The current credit rating of the party making the payments is a must.
Simply ask your bank manager or loan officer. With a few clicks (s)he will know. Usually this is a free service to established customers. The investor will check.

Finally, in a brief section on comments, state something about the condition of the property that stands as collateral to the loan you made to the buyer. Has it increased in value? Due to the economy of the region? Due to improvements made? Any increase in value makes the note more secure to the investor, which improves the chance for a higher bid.
